Yet another amazing book by THE Sigurd Olson! His one is from his later years. The last chapter is my favorite.
Great book. Great author. Somewhat disappointed with the condition of the book. I think it should have been listed as "Fair" not "Good" or "Acceptable"
A topical approach to the common themes of Olson's writings. I prefer the lyrical descriptions in his earlier works. Read this one last--but with great benefit.
One of the best writings about the North, its feelings and its impact on humankind that I've ever read. This is a "must read" for any serious or hope-to-be wilderness person.
