It was really good while they were in the desert. It started out with SO much potential and just kept going until they got married. He turned into someone different and it was weird. They got married at around 73% through the book so for him to switch to a domineering and stiff acting guy just because he was the Sultan again and had responsibilities, was annoying. I liked how he was throughout their time getting to his palace but when he changed, I had my doubts about the book. I wish he would have stayed the same. I did see a bit of his old self in the last chapter when he thought she was in danger and it helped heal the "pain" I felt with his change. He should have told her the truth in the cave scene. She would have accepted it then versus at the wedding AFTER they got married. He did not want her to back out so did not let her see him during the ceremony which was another betrayal of trust. She was a GREAT heroine. Her personality was so much fun and so unique to Harlequin romances. It was a good book and I am sad I waited 9 months before I actually read because I bought it in March.

The Sheikh Virgin Princess Harlequin comics eBook Sarah Morgan Yu Kohaku Reviews

The story held my interest. They were likable as characters .
I do not like to be told how many words I have to write so I will not review again .
A really touching story. Nicely laid out. The danger aspect was not overdone, just enough to be believable. The characters were strong and likeable. An exciting read.
This story has excitement, depth and complex characters. It's a nice surprise for a Harlequin! The story had surprising turns, intrigue, danger and emotional depth. I actually cried a couple times when Alexa shared her story. The characters were well developed enough for you to feel invested in them. Great book in my opinion.
Lies, deceit, hatred, and finally love...this story has it all! Our H and h have an arranged marriage that the H wants to avoid at all cost. Our h sees the marriage as her only out in a dangerous situation. What follows is a battle of wills and luckily, in this war, there are no losers. Give this story a read, you won't be sorry.
I loved the h, she rocked 5 stars all day long! She was smart, sassy and nobody's fool. The H was arrogant almost to the point of blindness. He was so demanding of the heroine, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to like him. However, in true HP fashion, it was towards the end, you see how much the H was doing "behind-the-scenes" to protect his woman. The h was a rock star and kept me totally entertained..... d;)
This book was fantastic. Could not put it down. Wish it didn't end would have loved for them to have children
I just could NOT with this book.

I really thought it was going to be off the chain amazing but I was so wrong. Wrong in being swayed by the other reviews that led me to buying this book in the first place. The hero was simply an unapologetic, arrogant to the core, full of himself ASS! When I first started to read this book his attitude didn't bother me because I believed it would get better as I continued the story, but sadly, he was this throughout almost ALL of the book.

And when a hero or heroine pisses me off it's a wrap. It took too damn long, imo, for him to get a clue and come around.

The ONLY reason I gave this book three stars was because of the heroine. She was simply in a word kickass. It's just too bad her amazingness couldn't save this book.
